Here is the commute I enjoy every day to my work. My office is about a 20-minute drive from my house.

I drive between Bellaire and Elk Rapids for my morning and evening commute. Elk Rapids is approximately 10 minutes north of Traverse City on US-131, while Bellaire is located east of Elk Rapids. During my drive, I enjoy views of East Grand Traverse Bay, Elk River, Torch Lake and Lake Bellaire.

Why Listen to What I Have to Say?

That's a fair question. You see, my wife and I moved from Taylor, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, in 1992 and never looked back. Many of our friends thought we were crazy to leave the big city for Northern Michigan. But many of them are now buying property and moving to Northern Michigan to enjoy the Up North lifestyle.

I've include every strategy, "tip" and technique that has helped us to enjoy the Northern Michigan lifestyle. Everything in my book is proven and tested!

My background includes 8-years as a licensed Realtor and then 15-years in the financial service industry as a Series 7 stockbroker, Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and mutual fund wholesaler.

Over the years, I have been invited to appear on several television news broadcasts on Channel 7 & 4 in Traverse City. I was also an invited guest on the popular Ron Jolly morning talk show on AM 580 - WTCM in Traverse City. During these broadcasts I talked about the "tips", strategies and techniques included in my book.
